Friday 5th June and Thursday 12th June 2014

During lessons on the Friday I began analysing three of my chosen genres album cover- Indie Acoustic. The three artists I chose were Mumford and Sons, Nina Nesbitt and The Wombats. I completed two of the analysis' during Friday's lessons in which I commented on the layout, text, font, colours, camerawork and mise-en scene and completed the third and final one in my own time on Thursday. I also made comparisons between the artists and how they differed; for example how Nina Nesbitt differed from the two other bands being a solo artist and a female and how the two male bands were similar and different within their album covers as well as commenting on all three as a whole and how they appeal to their target demographic and why.
